A 14-year-old boy has been charged for the second time within a week following an alleged stolen vehicle incident and police pursuit in Canberra’s south.
Just after 10pm last night, Police detected a white Skoda Octavia that had been reported stolen that day and initiated a pursuit.
Tyre deflation devices were successfully deployed on Harrington Circuit in Kambah, however police allege the driver failed to stop when directed, continuing to drive recklessly through nearby streets.
A short time later the vehicle came to a stop and police arrested the 14-year-old boy.
The boy was on bail after allegedly stealing a vehicle on Thursday will face the ACT Children’s Court today.
