New government funding has been announced to support Canberrans who have developed an asbestos related illness after living in a Mr Fluffy home.

The eight million dollar contribution from the Federal Government will help cover the medical costs for victims.

The ACT Government will establish and administer the fund, will match the federal government’s contribution.

Senator for the ACT Zed Seselja is praising the tireless work of James Wallner, who contracted the disease after living in a Mr Fluffy home.
