Today is World Hepatitis Day.
Advocacy groups are reminding Australians to get checked for hepatitis immunity.
Currently there are 3 hundred and 40 thousand Australians living with hepatitis B and C with 6 thousand hepatitis suffers in Canberra.
Hepatitis ACT Executive Officer Joshua Anlezark says the virus can often be asymptomatic but there is a real possibility the virus can be eliminated in the ACT.
