Two people will face court after allegedly breaking into the former Naval Transmission Station site in Lawson on Sunday at about 3.45pm.

The alleged offenders abandoned a vehicle and fled the building on foot.

A 21 and 22 year old man were arrested by 5pm, they were unable to leave the site as gates had been secured.

They now face charges including trespassing on prohibited Commonwealth land and joint commission of damaging property.
