Canberra’s been named the worst capital city in Australia for start-up businesses.

According to a new study – Budding entrepreneurs may find it harder to start a business in the A.C.T. than any other jurisdiction

– that’s because of Canberra’s high costs of living

Software company “Reckon” – says its found cost of living and the cost of childcare made the national capital as the worst capital city for new business.

Darwin came out second worst….

Melbourne was seen as the best.
