An investigation’s underway into an air emergency at Canberra Airport

The alarm was raised yesterday morning.

The Australian Transportation Safety Bureau has confirmed, a jet-stream aircraft was on a flight from Newcastle to the national capital – when an engine failed mid flight.

The plane touched down at Canberra airport without further issue.

THE ATSB says it’s probing the incident

Canberra Airport Media has refused to comment.
