Former Defence minister LINDA REYNOLDS won’t backdown from her defamation case against Brittany Higgins.

Linda Reynolds says she’s regrettably forced to proceed with the case, to prove there was never a cover-up, of an alleged rape in Parliament House.

At the weekend, Ms Higgins took to social media say – she was “Sorry” her former boss had been hurt in the saga…

Senator Reynolds NOW says the peace offering doesn’t go far enough.

The Senator’s hinted at the burden of her own financial costs in the defamation action… saying it would need to be considered as part of any settlement… and she’ll continue the action.

She says it’s already been 3 years to resolve the matter.
