A 49-year-old Kambah woman has been charged after allegedly stealing a vehicle and assaulting her partner this week.

On June 22, a vehicle was reported stolen from a Greenway shopping centre carpark, with CCTV footage depicting woman committing the act.

About 6pm the next day, the woman allegedly drove the stolen vehicle to her partner’s residence in Kambah, before allegedly assaulting him.

About 11:20pm, police received reports of a disturbance at the residence.

The woman was arrested and transported to the ACT Watch House and will face the ACT Magistrates Court on June 24.
