The union representing Garbage Truck Drivers in Canberra over a pay dispute says some progress has been made but things are far from resolved.

Drivers have been pushing for a 12 per cent pay rise over the next three years, but Suez says that’s unreasonable and have counter-offered with 8 per cent.

TWU ACT branch secretary Klaus Pinkas will meet with drivers this week to discuss the dispute.
