Some good news for Canberra’s cycling enthusiasts.

Those who like to cycle around Lake Burley Griffin to the Kingston Foreshore will eventually see a change in the route.

A new protected cycle lane is being built in the inside lane of Bowen Drive, between the Kings Avenue Bridge and Bowen Park carpark.

It’ll make things a lot safer, with raised concrete kerbing to separate the cycle lane from vehicles.
