The ACT Government have made one of their last pre-budget announcements, with the news of a $4.6 million investment to accelerate housing delivery and maintain momentum in the housing pipeline.

The Housing Supply and Land Release program outlines land releases to support close to 26,000 new homes to be built across the territory over the next five years alongside land for commercial, community and mixed-use development.

The government say through a combination of land release, planning reform and direct investment, they will enable 30,000 new homes by the end of 2030.
