ACT Policing is seeking the publics assistance in locating a silver Toyota Kluger SUV following an alleged assault and possible abduction on Tuesday afternoon.

At about 1.20pm, a man wearing a blue cap was seen to grab and assault a woman while on Horse Park Drive at Casey.

Witnesses described the man punching the woman a number of times before forcing her into the Silver Kluger with ACT Registration plates YMH-11M.

The Toyota which has been reported stolen, sped away from the scene, it has since been seen around the City and Braddon areas.
