We’ll have to wait another week before finding out the sentencing fate of a Defence Whistleblower.

David McBride appeared in A.C.T. Surpreme Court this week, as part of sentencing for giving the A.B.C. Details of classified information, alleging misconduct by Australian troops in Afghanistan.

Speaking outside court yesterday… he told media  “I’m a proud Australian…. I will never take a backward step”.

Lawyers for both sides made their case…

Last year, McBride pleaded guilty .

The judge will hand down sentencing next week.
