A sentencing hearing begins today in the A.C.T. for an Army Whistleblower

In 2017 – David McBride appeared on the A.B.C. – to help expose alleged war crimes by Australian soldiers in Afghanistan.

Supporters have gathered at the A.C.T. Supreme Court this morning to rally for the whistleblower…

Back in November,  he pleaded guilty to two counts of disclosing military information… and stealing from the Government.

Today, he’s preparing for prison as his sentencing hearing gets underway this morning in the A.C.T. Supreme Court.
