Concern is growing over the increase of hoons in Canberra.

Weston Creek and Molonglo residents have reported a rise in drifting, burnouts and late-night meets.

Officer in Charge of Woden Station Chris Ball says they do rely on members of the public supplying information such as number plates and car descriptions.
