One of the nation’s most iconic, and controversial, pieces of art is set to tour the country.

Blue Poles, painted by Jackson Pollock and housed in the National Gallery of Australia, will head to WA as part of the federal government’s Sharing the National Collection program.

The painting will be displayed at the Art Gallery of Western Australia from April next year.
