A 24-year-old man has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting his former partner on two occasions.

Police allege the man had non-consensual intercourse with the woman while she was intoxicated, once in 2024 and once in 2025.

The incidents were reported to police and yesterday, the man was arrested by the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team at his home in Macgregor.

He has been charged with two counts of reckless sexual intercourse without consent.
