ACT Policing has arrested a 33‑year‑old Duffy man after he allegedly crashed into a home in Kambah this week.

Just before 2pm on March 10, police received reports that a vehicle had crashed into the front living room of a home in Kambah.

The man who was allegedly driving the vehicle fled the scene on foot immediately after the collision.

Police searched the surrounding area throughout the afternoon, locating the man in the early evening hiding at a nearby residence.

He was subsequently arrested and transported to the ACT Watch House.

The man, who is subject to bail conditions, will face the ACT Magistrates Court on March 11.
