The Federal Opposition Leader has confirmed he will not intervene as the Canberra Liberals continue to deal with turmoil.

It comes after former Liberal Leanne Castley’s shock resignation this week, citing bullying, intimidation and threats of physical assault from members.

Angus Taylor says he has no plans to step in, claiming the party needs to sort themselves out and focus on becoming electable.

Castley quit the party earlier this week, after claiming she was the subject of bullying, intimidation and threats of physical violence.

She will now sit as an independent.
