Police have charged a man over the alleged supply of illicit drugs on the Far South Coast of NSW.

In January, officers attached to the South Coast Police District commenced an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs in the Bega Valley area.

A search warrant was executed at a property north of Merimbula at about 3.30 yesterday (Thursday).

A 47 year old man was arrested and faces charges including supplying a commercial quantity of drugs and dealing with proceeds of crime, the man was granted bail to face court next month.
