Chief Minister Andrew Barr says he won’t join the witch hunt of defense personnel, after new photos were released of the Orroral Valley Fire.

The fire which burned 80 per cent of Namadgi National Park was started by the Army Taipan helicopter’s landing light, crew on board the helicopter didn’t alert emergency services about the fire until 45 minutes later.

Mr Barr says accidents happen and there is nothing to gain from going after those responsible.
