Canberra’s median house price has hit a record high of more than $927,000 dollars.

That’s according to the Domain House Price Report for the March quarter, which saw it increase by nine point seven percent.

It’s the fastest growth over a quarter since the records began in 1993 and it’s also the first time it’s cracked the $900,000 mark.

But, Domain Senior Research Analyst, doctor Nicola Powell says this spike is likely a one-off.
