The Tuggeranong Little Athletics Association is concerned about a proposed Cark Park at Kett Street in Kambah, opposite the Burns Club.

A new 98 space carpark will be built, with the current carpark used for commercial buildings.

Canberra Burns Club President Athol Chalmers says the club wants to diversify it’s revenue stream.

“What we want to do is remove the carparks and take the car parks on Kett Street, so where the current car park is can be used as a childcare centre or apartments, to create another revenue stream for the business,” Chalmers said.
