The latest pre-budget announcement confirms further investment in Canberra’s artists and creatives industries.

The Government has announced they’re supporting artists and organisations who contribute to Canberra’s cultural scene, by increasing investment in arts organisations by 25 per-cent.

The Budget will provide a structural uplift in funding, representing an investment of over 8-million dollars.

Minister for Business, Arts and Creative Industries, Michael Pettersson, says this big uplift in funding is what artists asked for and what was promised at the election.
