South.Point Tuggeranong has completed its seven day proactive security operation.

The operation saw nine security officers deployed each day, with three dedicated patrol guards supported by six officers positioned at key entrances, working alongside ACT Policing.

84 centre-wide patrols were conduct, with 133 e-bikes and e-scooters intercepted as part of its ongoing investment in customer safety.

South.Point Centre Manager Keith Woodman said they will continue reviewing the centre’s security measures and looking for opportunities to further strengthen safety.

“This isn’t a one-off initiative. We’ll continue listening to our community, reviewing our
security measures and investing in practical initiatives that help ensure South.Point remains
a safe and welcoming place for everyone.”
