A 32-year-old Taylor woman has faced court after allegedly failing to stop at a COVID-19 checkpoint in Canberra’s north.

Another driver is also accused of failing to stop for police at a checkpoint on Lady Denman Drive.

Police have been conducting checks in various locations around Canberra and are reminding drivers to slow down at flashing lights and stop when directed.

Meanwhile, police say they’re also investigating two “flagrant breaches” of home quarantine here in the capital.
