The Weston Creek community council are calling for a greater police presence in Molonglo Valley.

They claim response times to criminal reports were too slow as police often had to come from Woden.

The AFPA have previously supported the idea of a police station in the area.

Despite being the fastest growing area of Canberra there are currently no plans to introduce a district police station in the Molonglo Valley.
