People returning to the ACT from New Zealand who’ve been to Auckland in the last 14 days will be required to self isolate as a result of a recent outbreak of COVID-19.

Affected individuals will need to seek relevant approvals from the ACT and their port of entry prior to travelling.

Travelers from New Zealand who are already in the ACT and have been in Auckland on or after the 20th of February must get tested for COVID-19 and isolate until they get a negative result.

In the meantime, more than 500 people have new being vaccinated against COVID-19 in the Territory.
