New Qantas Jet in Canberra

The latest Airbus A220 jet has arrived in Canberra after a bunny hop from Canada.

Six of the jets make up the fleet of this type of equipment in the QantasLink scheme.

They were originally brought in to replace the Boeing 717 jets that Qantas was retiring.

Most will fly on the Canberra – Melbourne route,  but will also be utilised for other destinations as more of these jets come into service.

The aircraft registered VH-X4F arrived at Canberra Airport early afternoon on Thursday, where it has been undergoing maintenance before entering service for QantasLink.
