A new poll has revealed 14% of Canberra voters would give their first preference to One Nation, while the support for Independents would grow to 19%, if the next territory election was held now.

The DemosAU/PremierNational Poll showed the Canberra Liberals would face a swing against them of 12.5% and achieve a primary vote of 21%, while the Greens would fall to an 11% primary vote.

Andrew Barr is voters’ preferred chief minister for 36 percent of respondents, while opposition leader Mark Parton was the pick for 32 per cent.
