A dragon boat facility on Lake Burly Griffin looks set to become a reality with the ACT Government awarding a contact for the design of the facility to Cox Architects.

$400,000 in funding was allocated towards the design of the facility in the ACT Governments 2020-21 budget.

It will support growth opportunities for Dragon Boat ACT, which boasts more than 600 members, 70 per cent of which are women.
