Australia is seeing an uptake in electric vehicle sales, with the ACT leading the way.

Data has revealed one in twenty vehicles registered in the territory is now electric, with the capital recording three months of EV uptake in a row.

Last month, over 43 per cent of newly registered vehicles were electric.
