Court today for a 42 year old Lyneham man who was subject to good behaviour obligations after he allegedly assaulted police and damaged a home yesterday afternoon.
About 2pm yesterday, the man visited a home in Lyneham but was told to leave by the occupant.
It is alleged the man then demanded the resident come outside before he damaged a security screen door and threw a large rock through a kitchen window.
The resident contacted police, who found the man at a nearby address in Lyneham shortly after and arrested him.
Police will allege the man then made threats towards officers and headbutted an officer.
The man was charged with assaulting a frontline community service provider, resisting a territory public official, threatening to endanger a person’s health and safety, and property damage.
