A man who allegedly raped and indecently assaulted his ex-partner has been released on conditional freedom.

The 33-year-old Whitlam man was granted bail when he faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

In February last year police received a report from a woman regarding alleged multiple sexual assaults and acts of indecency by her ex-partner.

The alleged offending occurred between 2007 and 2016.

He is charged with three counts of reckless sexual intercourse without consent and three counts of acts of indecency.
