Franco-Belgian Border has been Moved by a Frustrated Farmer

The Guardian is reporting the boundary between France and Belgium has been moved.

A French farmer has moved a 200 year old border stone, which has marked the divide since the battle of waterloo, because it was in the path of his tractor.

The shift of 2.29 metres, appears to have enlarged Belgium and decreased French land and may take the resurrection of a Franco-Belgian border commission, dormant since 1930, to settle the exact location of the border.
