The fifth repatriation flight bringing home Australians stranded overseas will arrive in the ACT on Monday evening.

The flight carrying up to 180 Australians from Singapore will bring home passengers from a number of different locations.

Exact numbers and details of where these passengers are from, will not be finalised until Monday.

The ACT Government says it’s confident their quarantine arrangements and safeguards are the right approach, as there were no issues with the last repatriation flight that arrived from India.

Those passengers were released into the community on Tuesday, having successfully completed their 14 days of hotel quarantine.

One woman in her 30s returned a very low positive result for COVID-19, she was not regarded as a risk to the community.
