An 18-year-old woman will face court today (Wednesday) after allegedly threatening a man with a screwdriver.

About 1:13pm yesterday, (29 April 2025), police received multiple reports of an altercation between a group of people and tradesmen working in the city.

Police attended City Walk and arrested an 18-year-old woman near the Merry-Go-Round and recovered a screwdriver that will be alleged the woman used to threaten a man known to her and the tradesmen.

No one was physically injured during this incident.

Enquiries into this matter are continuing.

The woman is expected to be charged with multiple offences.

Police are also keen to speak with any witnesses who have not already come forward including anyone with mobile phone footage of the incident.
