Today’s the deadline for eligible doctors in Canberra to register their claim for compensation over unpaid hours.

In September, Canberra Health Services and Calvary Health Care ACT settled an “unprecedented and landmark” class action suit brought by junior doctors  who sued for unrostered and unpaid overtime.

However, of the near 3,000 doctors who are eligible to register for the claim, only about half have reached out. It’s thought, many may now be interstate and unaware of the litigation.

Registrations need to be made by 4PM today (Wednesday).
