The ACT Government will stop posting ‘monitor’ exposure sites from tomorrow, as Canberra transitions out of lockdown.

These sites present a low risk to the community going forward according to the ACT’s Chief Health Officer.

Doctor Kerryn Coleman says the focus needs to be on sites of high transmission.

“We do know that COVID-19 will continue to transmit through the community,” said Doctor Coleman.

“The only way we are going to pick up those cases is by testing people who have symptoms, who otherwise aren’t a close or casual contact.”
