The Canberra Liberals have responded to proposed legislation from the Greens, calling for cabinet documents to be released within 30 days.

Currently, the average processing time for requests for documents to be processed is 11 months, but the Greens want that changed to 30 days.

Opposition Leader Leanne Castley says the Greens had plenty of time to make this happen.
