A giant pink unicorn will take to Canberra’s skies during the Enlighten Festival.

The New York-based balloon called Allycorn will join over 20 balloons for the annual Canberra Balloon Spectacular.

The festivities will run for nine mornings from this Saturday until March 14.

The event is still free to attend, but you’ll need to register due to COVID restrictions.

Weather permitting, balloons will launch daily from 6.15am at the Patrick White Lawns, located between the National Library of Australia and Lake Burley Griffin.
