There seems to be a big dispute between staff at Canberra Airport and the facilitiy’s management, in the wake of a protest march, held last week.
Staff marched in protest against the Airport’s Management.
The group was made up of security workers and union members, who allege unpaid wages and unwarranted police action against a union member.
Around 70 people took part in last week’s rally outside the airport, with Union rep Lyndal Ryan raising concerns about M-S-S Security, and its industrial relations records.
Among the allegations Ms Ryan said that the new contractor owes 30 thousand dollars in unpaid wages.
The airport has defended the new contractor, stating the transition and service has been seamless.
