ACT records 15 new COVID cases

93.6 per cent of Eligible Canberran’s are fully vaccinated, as we head back into the double digits with 15 new COVID cases recorded in the ACT today.

There’s currently 5 people in hospital including 2 in the ICU with 1 on ventilation.

There were 1365 negative tests in the 24 hours to 9am this morning.

Across the border, a Queanbeyan man aged in his 60s has died, 10 new cases have been recorded in NSW towns surrounding the ACT.

·Eight new cases are in the Queanbeyan Palerang region (one in Queanbeyan West, four in Googong, and three in Crestwood). A Crestwood case is linked to a known case. All other cases are under investigation.

·Two new cases are in the Yass Valley region and are under investigation.
