The Canberra Liberals leader is turning up the heat on the ACT Government, demanding they “come clean” on the real price tag of Stage 2B of the light rail to Woden.

Mark Parton has lodged a motion in the Legislative Assembly demanding the government publicly release the full early costings and timeline for the project by the last sitting week in June.

The party leader says Canberrans can’t afford any more hidden debt or smokes and mirrors.

“Canberrans deserve to know exactly how much this project will cost before the Government signs them up to billions more in debt,” Mr Parton says.
