A staff elected member of the Australian National University’s council has resigned, citing concerns about its direction.
According to the Financial Review, Dr Liz Allen resigned on Monday morning, saying she could not remain on the council, following a recent vote of no confidence from staff.
A recent poll led by the National Tertiary Education Union found over 95 per cent of staff who voted, had no confidence in the leadership of Chancellor Julie Bishop and Vice Chancellor Genevieve Bell.
