A.C.T. to be “Drugs Tourist Attraction”

The Federal Opposition says Canberra will soon become a “tourist attraction” for casual drug users.

The claim follows progressive changes to A-C-T laws.

From next month, people would be fined or cautioned – if they are caught with a small amount of heroin, ice or cocaine for personal use.

Police are urging the A-C-T government not go down this path.

Speaking in Canberra, Opposition leader Peter Dutton says the federal government must intervene.
