ACT Police have concluded a five day domestic and family violence operation, in conjunction with their interstate counterparts.
15 people have been arrested in the capital as part of Operation Shepard, and have been charged with various domestic and family violence offences.
Five were given a summons to face the ACT Magistrates Court.
All 15 had been arrested and charged with domestic or family violence offences before.
Three people wanted by New South Wales Police were believed to have been residing in the territory.
Minister for Police Marisa Paterson says operations like these show that offenders can’t hide across state borders.
Operation Shepard ran from August 12 to 16.
