BRASS ON THE GRASS

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the incorporation of the spirit of brass in Canberra. It is made up of 3 brass bands – Canberra Brass, Victoria Street Brass & Newbery Brass and marks the 40th anniversary of the band’s establishment. Come along and celebrate this amazing birthday on Sunday 13 October at the Hall Heritage Centre during their famous Brass on the Grass event. The birthday will be celebrated with the band marching up Victoria Street at 1pm, from the Post Office to the grounds playing “Village March” which was written for Hall.
Food is available for purchase or bring a blanket and a picnic. Free entry.
