More Than $40M Worth Of Drugs Bound For Fyshwick Seized

A 23-year-old Canberra man has been arrested after more than 350kg of MDMA was intercepted in buckets of chlorine from Germany destined for Fyshwick. Officers from AFP, ACT Policing and Australian Border Force searched a home in Philip yesterday and found cash and more suspected drugs, the man was arrested in Lawson later that day.

The arrest followed a joint investigation which kicked off in May.

Offices intercepted the airfreight consignment in Sydney, which was heading to an address in Fyshwick.

The haul had the potential to produce over 1 million tablets with an estimated street value of $40.5 million.
