'Diplomatic Immunity' Affecting Dog Investigation

Category: Capital Radio News

Investigations into three separate dog attacks in Canberra are allegedly being hampered by the fact the owner has diplomatic immunity.

The dog, which lives on a property owned by the US embassy in Stirling, has been linked to three separate attacks in the past 18 months - including one on a four-year old girl.

The ACT's domestic animal service says it's currently working in connection with the Australian Federal Police diplomatic liaison unit, to investigate the reports.
